October is World Mission Month and World Mission Day will be on the 19th October 2025. The Pontifical Mission Societies (PMS) of Malaysia Singapore Brunei have planned a few items for the month.
1. Both the hard copies of the World Mission Day and Holy Childhood posters have been distributed to you to be displayed on your parish noticeboard. The soft copy of both posters are also attached with this message should you feel the need to print extra copies for distributing to your various outstations/ groups. You may also freely circulate the soft copies of both posters on your parish social media platforms.
2. Attached to this message is the video of Bishop Julius’s Mission Day message that is to be displayed in all parishes. Since the Bishop’s message is focused on Mission Day 2025, it is more suitable to be displayed at the announcement during the Sunday Masses of the Mission Sunday weekend 18-19 October.
3. Attached is the prayer for the World Mission Month. You may distribute it to your parishioners and respective groups.

You may use the pope’s message as a resource for your homily and for you to share with your parishioners.
5. A Worldwide Holy Hour for children & recitation of the Mission rosary in various languages will be live streamed from KL Archdiocese on Friday 17th October 2025 @ 7pm. Pls inform your parish so that they can organise themselves to gather and participate in solidarity. The link for the live stream will be provided nearer the date.
6. The Holy Childhood coin boxes are not printed this year, however children are encouraged to used recyclable materials or containers to collect the money. Please instruct your PPC or Catechetical committee to coordinate this with the children of our parish. Please also distribute any left over coin boxes that you may still keep in your parish. Next year PMS will introduce QR code.
7. Finally five thousand Mission rosaries will be send from the PMS to each diocese. It will be distributed to you once they have arrflipbook links to the Mission Rosary flipbook can be found here. Please share it with your parishioners.
